The Law Offices of SJ Spero & Associates (formerly Spero & Jorgenson, P.C.) was founded in 1983 to protect the rights of victims of professional misconduct and abuse. Our practice is devoted exclusively to this highly specialized area of law.

Linda M. Jorgenson serves as Of Counsel to The Law Offices of SJ Spero & Associates. She is a nationally recognized authority in the field of professional misconduct and therapist sexual exploitation law, with decades of experience representing survivors of abuse by mental health professionals, clergy, and other trusted figures.
Ms. Jorgenson co-founded the firm (then known as Spero & Jorgenson, P.C.) and has been instrumental in shaping the legal landscape for victims of professional exploitation. She has authored numerous articles and publications on therapist sexual misconduct and has lectured extensively to legal and mental health professionals across the country.
Her work has helped establish the legal standards and ethical frameworks that govern the treatment of clients by mental health professionals today. She brings a rare combination of legal expertise and deep understanding of the psychological dimensions of professional abuse to every case she handles.
Ms. Jorgenson continues to serve clients as Of Counsel, contributing her unparalleled expertise to complex cases involving therapist abuse, clergy misconduct, and other forms of professional exploitation.
